Pinner Memorial Park wins residents poll for ‘favourite park in Harrow’

Pinner Memorial Park has been voted Harrow residents’ favourite park via a poll posted by Harrow Online.

The park, which is located close to the centre of Pinner, and has entrances from Marsh Road, West End Lane, West End Avenue and Chapel Lane, is the home of the Heath Robinson Museum and is a popular place for walks in the borough.

Pinner Memorial Park includes a bowling green and a large pond with ducks and geese and a small aviary of budgerigars. An ornamental ‘Peace Garden’ also provides a quiet place to sit and relax, perfect with Spring on the horizon.

One person commented: “Pinner Memorial Park is the nicest place for walks and nature in the borough. Each week I take a long walk around and admire the fountain, it’s truly a nice place to visit”

Another person commented: “The museum is a must to visit”.
