Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to the scene in Mill Hill today as a house caught fire.
The fire was on Grants Close in Mill Hill at around lunchtime this afternoon (1 Feb).
London Fire Brigade said that the entire first floor was destroyed by the blaze, and that the fire also affected part of the roof.
The Brigade was called at 12:32pm and the fire was under control by 2:22pm. Fire crews from Mill Hill, Finchley and Hendon fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
