Two males were arrested in the early hours of this morning following a pursuit through Stanmore and Kenton.
The men were arrested after failing to stop for police at around 2:00am. Police also dispatched a helicopter to the scene.
A spokesperson for National Police Air Service (NPAS) said: “At about 2am on the morning of Monday 7 February 2022, whilst flying in the Stanmore area, a police helicopter crew from NPAS London spotted a suspicious vehicle, the details of which were passed to the Metropolitan Police Service. Officers were directed to the vehicle and arrests were made.”
Met Police told Harrow Online: “At approximately 02:00hrs on Monday, 7 February a car failed to stop for police in the vicinity of Honeypot Lane, Stanmore.
“A pursuit was commenced and the occupants decamped from the car in Moorhouse Road.
“Two males were subsequently arrested; one of suspicion of drink drive and failing to stop for police, the other on suspicion of possession of class A drugs.
“Both remain in custody at a west London police station.”
