Kenton Road will play host to a special ‘Welcome Back’ Market on Sunday 6 March, it has been announced.
Members of the public can expect a variety of stalls selling food and drink, arts and crafts, fashion clothing, jewellery and much more, as well as children’s rides and live entertainment – perfect for all the family to enjoy.
The market is the latest of Harrow Council’s Welcome Back events to support and celebrate the Borough’s businesses and reminding customers what they offer, it’s also part of the government’s support through the Welcome Back Fund and ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).
Cllr Keith Ferry, Business, Property & Leisure Portfolio Holder, said: The market is a chance to “welcome back” and promote our wonderful high streets – reminding shoppers what our local businesses have to offer as we build back better from the impact of Covid.
There’s lots to shop and enjoy – and there’s still plenty of room for more businesses to get involved.”
A representative from the Kenton Area Traders’ Association said: “The Kenton Area Traders’ Association is working hard to help Kenton bounce back better following the challenges of the past two years. We would encourage local residents and businesses alike to support this event. The KATA would like to thank Harrow Council for its support in coordinating this Welcome Back Market”.
The Kenton Welcome Back Market, will take place on 6th March from 11am to 4pm, we would like to invite everyone to come down, and take a look at the variety of stalls and entertainment on offer.
The activities are part of a funding grant Harrow Council has been awarded from the ERDF from the Welcome Back Fund, which supports the return to high streets safely.
