St Luke’s Hospice have informed us that they are very excited to announce the return of their fantastic Colour Run!.
It’s the Harrow-based charity’s first one since 2016 and if ever there was an event to brighten up your day and your Instagram feed, this is it!
Taking place at Kenton Recreation Ground on 23 April, the event is for all ages and abilities!
Walk, jog, skip or run or crawl around a 5km route passing through and being pelted in colour at 8 fun stations along
the way!
Everyone has the chance to get covered from head to toe in eco-friendly coloured powder along the route, ending up as a super vibrant and multi coloured version of their former selves.
Following completion of the course and covered in all the colours of the rainbow, participants will receive their free race finisher medal.
Once finished, live DJ entertainment will provide the soundtrack for the colour battle, as participants celebrate their achievement in a huge paint fight with thousands of colour powder bombs.
Organisers are looking for 400 supporters to raise £60 each (including their entry fee) in order to reach our target. Each participant will get a t-shirt, glasses, colour powder bombs and a finisher medal.
St Luke’s are challenging their supporters to raise enough money to cover the cost of caring for a patient in their Inpatient Unit for one month.
The expert care we provide to patients in their final days costs nearly £23,000 per month per patient.
Sign up now on their website to get the 25% discounted early bird price of £15 (normally £20) for adults and £7.50 (normally £10) for children until 31 March.
Participants will arrive at the entrance to the park (Carlton Avenue) by 10:30am to register and be ready for the race to start at 11am. There is no car parking on-site, but bus routes on Kenton Road and Kenton Station are just a short walk away.
