Motorcyclist dies in Uxbridge after colliding with lamppost

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal collision in Uxbridge yesterday afternoon (Monday, 14 March).

Police were called at 3:12pm to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle on Kingston Lane. It was reported the motorcyclist had collided with a lamppost.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 40s, was found seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Sadly, despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounced dead at 6:55pm. The man’s family has been informed.

Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam.
