Dramatic images and footage have been sent into Harrow Online this morning showing a bus that collided with a building in Station Road, Harrow.
The incident happened at around 11:30pm last night (20 April). Police cordoned off Station Road at 11:43pm. All major bus routes were affected until around midnight when it was cleared.
Three people on the bus suffered minor injuries, one person was taken to hospital, London Ambulance Service have confirmed.
Images show the damage done to the 140 bus that crashed in Harrow Town Centre.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 23:19hrs on Wednesday, 20 April to reports that a bus had collided with a building in Station Road, Harrow.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. Three people on the bus were treated for minor injuries.”
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “We were called at 2324 to an incident where a bus had collided with a shop. Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters attended from Stanmore fire station and the incident was under control for the Brigade by 2353. One man was treated at the scene for shock by London Ambulance Service crews.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.15pm last night (20 April) to reports of a road traffic collision on Station Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew, a team leader and a medic in a fast response car. Our crews treated four people at the scene, and took one of the patients to hospital.”
