Football agent Mino Raiola has died at the age of 54

Football agent for stars such as Paul Pogba and Erling Haland, Mino Raiola, has died at the age of 54 following a battle with illness.

Mino Raiola was the agent of some of the biggest names in football including Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Raiola had a recent spell in hospital for a surgery although the exact nature of the procedure has was not revealed.

The Italian footballing agent had a famous reputation in the game and was known by many as a ‘Super Agent’, having been involved in deals for many of todays top stars.

The footballing world has been paying their tributes to Raiola on Twitter.

One person said: “Sad to hear about Mino Raiola, not an age to die at all. Thoughts with his family and friends.”

Another person said: “Very sad news breaking today that Super Agent Mino Raiola (54) has passed away after an illness

“He has been responsible for some of the biggest transfers in football and his list of clients is like a whos who

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.”
