Harrow is fortunate to have a vast array of restaurants across our wonderful borough, whether it’s a traditional pub lunch you’re after, or a fine dining experience – Harrow has something to cater for you.
Despite being overwhelmed with fast food outlets (and let’s face it, we all like the occasional Big Mac), there truly is a high volume of quality, affordable and family friendly places to eat out in Harrow.
We looked at some of the best restaurants, as rated by Tripadvisor users, and compiled a list of five of the best offerings around.
1. Eastern Fire (Rayners Lane)
With a Tripadvisor ranking of 4.5 out of 5, and 183 out of 227 reviews rating this restaurant ‘excellent’, Eastern Fire is prominent as one of the best places to eat out across the borough. Located in Alexandra Avenue, the resturant offers Malaysian and Sri Lankan cuisine and provides vegan and vegetarian-friendly options. 2. Masa Restaurant (Wealdstone)
4.5 out of 5 again for this restaurant located in Wealdstone. This restaurant serves Afghani and Middle Eastern food and has a very impressive 321 out of 386 ‘excellent’ reviews. Masa is on the Travellers Choice Awards list and offers free Wifi to customers who visit. To try some of their delicious food, head down to Headstone Drive in Wealdstone to find them.
3. Jasmine’s Café and Diner (Kenton)
Serving traditional British food, Jasmine’s Café has a solid 5 out of 5 rating on Tripadvisor. Whilst there may not be quite as many reviews, the fact that 66 out of 68 people have voted this as ‘excellent’ is a major achievement, and certainly a reason to check it out. Based in Kenton Lane, Jasmine’s Café offers breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner and according to the reviews, their Breakfast Burrito is a specialty!.
4. Ram’s Pure Vegetarian (Kenton)
As the name suggests, Ram’s offers vegetarian Indian cuisine and is highly ranked on Tripadvisor. Like Jasmine’s, Ram’s is also located on Kenton Road and has a highly respectable 4.5 rating out of 5. It has 285 out of 388 ‘excellent’ reviews making it a must-visit in Harrow. 5. The White Horse (Harrow on the Hill)
Harrow on the Hill is one of the nicest parts of the borough, and it is also home to the highly rated White Horse, a pub that offers traditional British food and is famed for their Sunday roasts and pies. Rated at 4.5 out of 5, this is perfect for a visit with the family on a Sunday afternoon. The White Horse has 190 out of 293 ‘excellent’ reviews – worth a visit if you ask us!.
