A man has been taken to hospital as a precaution following an incident in the town centre opposite Harrow on the Hill station this afternoon (17 May).
A man was seen shouting outside a popular kebab shop in Harrow Town Centre as he was confronted by police.
Members of Harrow Online sent images and footage of the scene with a large amount of police cars and ambulances on College Road, Harrow.
London Ambulance Service confirmed that a man was taken to hospital following the incident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1:08pm today (17 May) to reports of an incident at College Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and took a man to hospital.”
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called shortly after 13:00hrs on Tuesday, 17 May regarding concerns for a man’s welfare.
“Officers attended and found the man close to Harrow Bus Station. The man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Due to the man’s erratic behaviour and concern for officers’ safety, a Taser was deployed. It was not discharged.”
