Deputy Mayor of Harrow, Sasi Suresh, opened the brand new British Heart Foundation store in Harrow today.
The store, located in the old Argos building on St Ann’s Road, Harrow Town Centre, is full of bargains to be had with a range of items available from white goods to sofas, and other electrical items.
Commenting on the opening, one resident said: “What’s good about this store is that there’s nothing like it in Harrow, and there’s a lot of people that will make use of these items as we all face financial uncertainty. Pleased it’s opened!!.”
We Are Harrow posted via their socials : “We would like to give a very warm welcome to the new store and recommend everyone to check out the amazing stock they have on offer.”
Unlike the British Heart Foundation Charity shop, this new store will sell second hand and donated homeware at affordable prices.
Sean Connor, Area Manager at the British Heart Foundation, said: “We are thrilled to be opening a BHF home store for the Harrow community. We want to encourage as many people as possible to come and see the great bargains on offer. Every item sold will help the BHF fund life saving research.
“If you’re looking to donate items, we would love to receive any unwanted quality sofas, furniture, homeware or electrical items. Donating couldn’t be easier and you can now arrange a free collection.
“Every pound raised in our shops helps us to support 22,000 people in Harrow living with heart and circulatory diseases. Your donations can help us, help them.”
