A 48-hour dispersal order has been put in place in Wealdstone after reports of anti-social behaviour, drinking and drug dealing.
The dispersal zone order came into force yesterday at 2pm and will run until 2pm tomorrow (May 20).
The dispersal order covers a wide area from Kenton Library on the right side of Wealdstone, up to Long Elmes in Harrow Weald.
A dispersal order enables police officers to direct people they suspect are causing (or are likely to cause) crime or anti-social behaviour to leave the area.
The news comes as Wealdstone Police also revealed that they made two arrests in the High Street today (May 19).
Wealdstone Police tweeted: “A dispersal Zone has been authorised by INSP REES for the WEALDSTONE area. The Dispersal will run from 18/05/2022 at 14:00 to 20/05/2022 to 13:59, due to increase ASB, Drinking and Drug Dealing.”
Anyone moved on by the police are not allowed to return for up to 48 hours.
