Police responded to reports of an assault at a pub in Harrow Town Centre last night shortly after midnight.
A man aged in his 60s was seen laying on the floor after allegedly being punched inside the pub. The man was then taken to hospital with a head injury.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 0.09am today (Sunday 22 May) to reports of an incident at Station Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew. We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 00:14hrs on Sunday, 22 May to reports of an assault at a pub in Station Road, Harrow.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A man, aged in his 60s, was taken to hospital with a head injury. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 120/22May.”
