Ten fire engines rush to Wealdstone to tackle restaurant blaze

A restaurant caught fire in Wealdstone this morning as ten fire engines quickly rushed to the scene in Peel Road to tackle the blaze.

The Spice Klub, a popular restaurant in Harrow, caught fire at around 6:15am this morning.

London Fire Brigade posted via their website: “Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have been called to a fire on Peel Road in Harrow.

“Firefighters are tackling a fire at a restaurant, where a significant part of the roof is alight. One of the Brigade’s aerial appliances is being used to spray water on the fire from above.

“The Brigade was called at 0619. Fire crews from Harrow, Stanmore, Northolt, Wembley and other fire stations in the surrounding area are at the scene.”

The fire has been successfully dealt with by London Fire Brigade.
