Shaftesbury High School in Harrow celebrates Jubilee in style

On the last day before the half term break, students and staff at Shaftesbury High School, Harrow, enjoyed a range of activities to celebrate the forthcoming Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty, The Queen.

These included dancing, music was inspired from the different ages of The Queen’s time on the throne, crown making, virtual tours of the Royal Palaces, assemblies on the timeline and history of Her Majesty and writing messages on a celebratory card which will be sent to Buckingham Palace to the Queen herself!.

The day culminated with a sports afternoon, which included cricket, croquet and pogo horse racing with ice cream and a decorative cake served by 6th firm, donated by ISS, the schools catering team – drinks and other foods were donated by Morrisons, Hatch End and Waitrose, Harrow Weald.
