There’s some major changes being made to Waitrose in Harrow Weald at the moment as the shop undergoes a complete refurbishment.
The store, based in High Road, Harrow Weald has been a family favourite for residents for over thirty years after being built in the late 1980s.
Waitrose is having new lighting installed across the entire shop with new LED lighting expected to be installed shortly.
The car park has also been resurfaced with more space for Parent and Child parking. In addition, there’s a brand new John Lewis ‘Home & Gifting’ section coming that will feature homeware and gifts for all occasions, this will be good news to those that miss the Watford branch since it’s closure.
One person told Harrow Online: “I’ve been coming to Waitrose for over twenty five years and at first I wasn’t sure, but I think this is going to be a positive change for the people in Harrow Weald.”
There’s been lots of movement inside the store with more self service counters and new checkouts installed. There will also be a new meat and fish counters, all in all – there’s some major happenings and we are looking forward to seeing the finished product.
