There was an incident in Harrow Town Centre this afternoon as a group of youths were spotted at Harrow Bus Station in handcuffs.
Met Police confirmed that a juvenile was arrested on suspicion of possession of a pointed/bladed article.
Images and footage sent to Harrow Online showed a large group of males being questioned by police next to Harrow Bus Station shortly after 4:15pm.
A Met Police spokesperson told Harrow Online: “On Thursday, 30 June, officers were carrying out a pre-planned operation to tackle and deter robbery in the Harrow-on-the-Hill area.
“At about 16:15hrs, officers saw a large group of youths in a multi-storey car park. Upon seeing the officers, the group dispersed.
“One juvenile was detained and subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a pointed/bladed article before being taken to a north London police station.
“Two other juveniles were found to be in possession of cannabis. They were dealt with via a Community Resolution.”
