A road in Rayners Lane, Harrow, has been cordoned off by police this evening following an incident shortly before 5pm.
A car crashed in Park Drive, Rayners Lane following a pursuit by police, a man was subsequently taken to hospital after being treated at the scene. Police officers were ‘narrowly missed’ by the vehicle during the incident.
Roxbourne Police tweeted: “Today we assisted other officers in an incident where a male failed to stop to police in @MPSRaynersLane with @MPSRoxeth and @LondonFire”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:“We were called today (Tuesday 5) at 4.47pm to reports of an incident in Park Drive, Harrow.
“We sent two ambulance crews and treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital.”

Met Police told Harrow Online: “Shortly after 16.30hrs on Tuesday, 5 July, police attempted to arrest the driver of a car in Park Drive, Harrow.
“As officers approached the vehicle, it drive away, narrowly missing the officers, before crashing a short distance away.
“The driver was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and attempted GBH. He has been taken into custody.”
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “We were called at 1700 to reports of a car in collision with a steel gatepost in Park Drive, Rayners Lane. Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit attended. One person was trapped inside the vehicle and was released by crews using specialist cutting equipment. Two people got out of the vehicle before crews arrived. One person was taken to hospital by London Ambulance crews.
“The incident was over for firefighters by 1754.”
