Acid ‘deliberately thrown’ over kitten in Harrow

RCPCA Middlesex have posted the awful news that a kitten appears to be the subject of a deliberate chemical attack in Shaftesbury Avenue, Harrow.

RSPCA Middlesex posted on Facebook: “Appealing for any information? Without any evidence or witnesses no prosecution can be made. PLEASE SHARE.

“On weds 29th June late afternoon this little black and white kitten was found cowering in pain by a member of public in Shaftesbury Avenue Harrow and taken to a local vet with serious chemical burns.

“We believe the acid was deliberately thrown over the kitten causing horrendous burns to 3/4 of the body including ears, front legs and face. The severity of the damage caused to the eyes, ears and lungs from inhalation was irreversible and left us no choice but to enthanasia and stop the pain this kitten was suffering.
