A local resident contacted Harrow Online yesterday evening (13 July) after firefighters were spotted at The Cedars open space, next to the community centre in Harrow Weald.
Thankfully, London Fire Brigade arrived on the scene very quickly, with one engine, and tackled the blaze promptly. No word on how the fire started.
London Fire Brigade said: “We were called to a fire in a wooded area on Uxbridge Road on 13 July at 2038. One fire engine attended and the incident was under control by 2053.”
