Members of Harrow Online reported a disturbance in the early hours of this morning (22 July) after a car smashed into THREE vehicles in Stanmore with the driver fleeing the scene shortly afterwards.
The incident happened shortly after 1:00am on Culver Grove, Stanmore with shocked residents seen looking on at the debris in the road following multiple collisions. Both Met Police and London Fire Brigade attended the scene.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said in a statement: “Firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Culver Grove in Harrow in the early hours of this morning.
“One car was in collision with three parked cars. No one was injured or trapped.
“Firefighters made the scene safe.
“The Brigade was called at 0158 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0211. One fire engine from Harrow Fire Station was at the scene.”
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “At 01:26hrs on Friday, 22 July police were called to Culver Grove, Stanmore following reports of a road traffic collision.
“Officers attended and found that a car had collided with three parked vehicles. The driver of the car had left the scene prior to police arrival.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“Further enquiries will follow.”
