With temperatures soaring like never before, pubs are becoming ever more appealing to stop and refresh. When in Harrow, there is no better place to rediscover your love for the borough and grab some drinks with friends and family at some of the most iconic pubs on Harrow on the Hill.

The Hill, with its old-world charm and narrow lanes, is home to some of the oldest and most famous pubs in the area. A mix of old and new, here are some places where you can go to beat the heat this summer:

1. The Castle:

The Castle is a traditional British pub dating back as far as 1716. Its classic Victorian décor, open fires, wooden floors, original lamps, and wall hangings portraying the history of Harrow School transports you to a different era in time. If you are looking for a place with a great atmosphere and liveliness, this is the place to be. From acoustic nights to Shakespeare in the garden, there is always something to look forward to at this historic Harrow pub. The food menu ranges from pub classics to homemade sandwiches, burgers made from fresh seasonal ingredients and an unbeatable Sunday roast. With open fires to keep warm in the winters to a large beer garden hidden at the back, the pub is a favourite among locals all year round.
