Police officers called to reports of a man with a knife in Harrow

Police officers responded to reports of a man in possession of a knife at the junction of Headstone Road and Junction Road, Harrow this afternoon.

The incident happened on Headstone Road where the entrance to St George’s Car Park, Harrow is located.

A Met Police spokesperson told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 12:28hrs on Sunday, 24 July to reports of a man in possession of a knife at a residential property in Headstone Road, Harrow.

“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and the man was detained under the Mental Health Act. No injuries were reported.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.18pm today (24 July) to reports of an incident on Headstone Road, Harrow.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and our medics took a patient to hospital.”
