This week we conducted a poll via the Harrow Online Group asking members what type of restaurants they most liked eating at within the borough.
The poll options included Italian, American, Afghan, Chinese, Indian, Caribbean, Turkish and many others, members of the group were invited to vote for their favourite food types or comment with other suggestions.
After receiving 36% of the 330 votes (at the time of writing) Indian restaurants were the clear winners with Turkish and Italian finishing joint second place with 15% of the votes.
One person commented saying: “We’d need real pizza, with a wood-fired oven and all the real things – if there’s any I’m not aware please let me know the real thing!!”
To which, a group member replied: “Used to be a place in the town centre that did proper pizzas called Seven. Their pizzas were great. Sadly it shut down a few years ago. Trattoria Sorrentina does wood fire pizza.”
Another person suggested: “We are missing a nice Thai restaurant in Harrow”
