Super Heroes are coming to St George’s in Harrow for ‘Let’s Get Super’ event

There are a series of summer family events that are due to be held at St. George’s Shopping Centre in Harrow Town Centre over the coming weeks.

The first event will be a delight for fans of the Marvel and DC universes as it will be a special Superhero themed extravaganza called ‘Let’s Get Super’. This will be held on Saturday 6th August (11am-3pm), celebrating the release of the new DC League of Super-Pets movie, which is being shown at VUE in St George’s.

Families from Harrow are invited to join a special ‘mask-making workshop’, before visiting the balloon modeller to collect their very own superhero sidekicks! Following the mask-making, people will be invited upstairs in the centre to meet some real-life superheroes! We can’t wait to find out who these are and we expect you to send us lots of photos to share on our socials! People are encouraged to wear their own costumes to the event in Harrow Town Centre, but this is not a requirement!

The next event will take place on Saturday 13th August 11am-3pm, when children will be able to swap those capes for lab coats at St. George’s Shopping to participate in their fun, food laboratory – this one will take place just outside the centre itself, how creative can you get?

The final event will raise much-needed funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital on Saturday 20th August 10am-4pm. Families are invited to Harrow to help Harrow BID and St George’s raise funds with a special funfair, Punch & Judy, face painting and much much more.

Darren Harman, St George’s Shopping Centre Manager said: “The summer holidays are a great time for families to spend quality time with one another and we are so happy to be inviting local families to do so here at St. George’s Shopping Centre. I can’t wait for our shopping centre to be filled with superheroes, scientists and fun activities.”
