Woman found with injuries “consistent with a fall from height” dies in Harrow

A woman has died after being found with “injuries consistent with a fall from height” in Harrow Town Centre.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene on Greenhill Way next to St George’s Shopping Centre last night (4 August) where, sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman’s death is being treated as unexpected but has been deemed non-suspicious.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “At 22:33 on Thursday, 4 August police were alerted to a woman who had been found injured in Greenhill Way, Harrow.

“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service. They found a 41-year-old woman who had injuries consistent with a fall from height.

“She was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Her death is being treated as unexpected, it has been investigated and is not suspicious.

“The woman’s next of kin has been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10:29pm last night (4 August) to reports of a person in cardiac arrest on Greenhill Way, Harrow.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, three medics in fast response cars and an incident response officer.

“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.”
