St. George’s Shopping Centre and Harrow BID team up this coming Saturday 20th August as they celebrate One Great Day, a special fundraising event to be held in Harrow Town Centre.
One Great Day is aimed at fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital, the London-based hospital that provides much-needed support and care to seriously ill children.
Families in Harrow are invited to join in the activities including face painting, balloon modelling, hook a duck, Punch & Judy, a raffle and more. Plus, there’ll be a special meet-and-greet character opportunity that organisers say “will take the day to infinity and beyond!.”
Darren Harman, Centre Manager at St. George’s Shopping Centre, said: “Each year we celebrate One Great Day to raise funds for this very important charity. This event has been so well supported in the past and I hope you can all join us this summer for a day of fun!”
Activities will take place in St. George’s Shopping Centre and on St. Anns Road in Harrow Town Centre between 10am and 4pm. The event is free to attend but donations will be encouraged for various activities. All of the proceeds will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
