A man has been hospitalised after being attacked in North Harrow as he was walking home from the shops.
The incident happened last Saturday shortly before 6pm opposite the Post Office in Pinner Road, North Harrow.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly after 18:00hrs on Saturday, 20 August to reports of an assault on Pinner Road in Harrow.
“Officers attended. A 43-year-old man was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a north London hospital with head and facial injuries. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Officers from the North West Command Unit are investigating and are carrying out a review of local CCTV cameras.
“There have been no arrests and enquires continue.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6:09pm on Saturday (20 August) to reports of an incident at Pinner Road, Harrow.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a fast response car.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”
