Anti-austerity campaign group, ‘The People’s Assembly’, is set to hold a rally in Harrow in support of Royal Mail and BT strike action.
The rally, which is to be held tomorrow (31 August) on Bridge Street, Pinner, hopes to support strike action occurring due to the cost of living crisis.
The Peoples Assembly website states: “The People’s Assembly is therefore calling on all our supporters to help us to mobilise the biggest, most united voice of workers and communities from every corner of Britain in the coming weeks.

“We put real pressure on the government to end the Cost-of-Living Crisis by mobilising an organised protest movement on the streets of our towns and cities with a message that will unite our communities.”
The promotional flier for the Harrow rally states that it will be held at 12pm, at the Pinner picket line.
The Peoples Assembly posted on Facebook: “Tomorrow (Wednesday) in Harrow, we’ll be rallying in support of CWU Royal Mail and BT strikers at the Pinner picket line. If you live in or around the area, come down on your lunch break and show your solidarity! This is all of our fight.”
