Northwick Park Hospital had a very special visitor recently as none other than your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman paid a visit to the hospital in Harrow.
The superhero paid a visit to help cheer up the children at the hospital in a lovely gesture by the charity Spread a Smile which brings joy and laughter to seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families during long hospital stays.
Certainly not someone you don’t meet in a hospital waiting room every day, the classic superhero swung into Northwick Park to bring a smile to children’s faces during a visit organised by the charity.
Miriam Sager, Paediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist, said: “The Spread a Smile team has already visited several times and been invaluable. “We’ve been truly blown away by their amazing input, thought and care into wanting to support our children and their families. There was pure happiness and joy in the air during their visits.”
