Events and meetings in Harrow have been cancelled during the national period of mourning Harrow Council have confirmed.
Posting via their website, the Council said: “As a mark of respect for the passing of the late Queen, Elizabeth II a number of scheduled council meetings and events have been cancelled or postponed during this period of national mourning.
“Further planned events across the borough may be cancelled at short notice. Check with organisers beforehand to avoid disappointment.”
The following Harrow events and meetings have been postponed, cancelled or moved:
– Marlborough School Street meetings (Saturday 10 and Thursday 15 September)
Play in Wealdstone Square (Saturday 10 September)
– All council meetings between 8 and 20 September.
