There was a collision in Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald yesterday evening that resulted in the rider of a moped being taken to hospital.
The incident happened shortly before 6pm and Uxbridge Road was closed off westbound until 5am at the High Road junction whilst emergency services, including London Ambulance Service and Met Police, rushed to the scene. The 182 bus route was also diverted until the scene was cleared.
A Met Police spokesperson told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 17:55hrs on Monday, 26 September to reports of a collision involving a car and moped in Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
“The rider of the moped – a male (no further details) – was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life-threatening.
“The driver stopped at the scene. No arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
A London Ambulance Spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (26 September) at 6pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated one man at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
