We’ve been treated with two new stores opening in Harrow Town Centre this week as Fish and Meat and RANYA Fresh Fish have both officially opened their doors to customers.
Fish and Meat, both a butcher and fishmonger, has opened on Station Road at the old Warren’s Bakery site at 329 Station Road. You’ll find loads of amazing, fresh items from this independent local business in Harrow.

There’s a range of halal meat and fresh fish filling the shelves at affordable prices. The likes of sirloin, brisket, leg of lamb, oxtail, mince, chicken and frozen items are available.
When the Harrow Online team went to check it out, there was a healthy amount of customers in store buying selected cuts for the weekend. One customer told us: “I used to come to the town centre years ago with my Gran to get meats and it’s what’s been missing here for a while. You can see how fresh these meats are, I think it will become very popular in Harrow, especially with the older generation who would have missed this”.
There’s also a seasoning section where each item on offer can be easily linked to the correct meat or fish. If you haven’t had a chance to pay them a visit yet, be sure to check out the special themed flooring!
The second shop we looked at, and a bit further down the road, just opposite Lloyds Bank and next to The Landmark in Harrow Town Centre, is RANYA – another fishmonger – but with different options from Meat and Fish.
The team was very welcoming and showed us around the shop, including the largest variety of fish we have seen in Harrow. Fish on sale included favourites such as haddock, cod, tuna, halibut, monkfish and also delicious shellfish including mussels, lobster, prawns clams, and cockles. Fish lovers will find Scottish salmon, tilapia, skate fish, and sea bream.
