The UK Street Dance Championships will return to Harrow later this month as the event is set to be held at Byron Hall, next to Harrow Leisure Centre.
Celebrating its 15th year, the event will be held on 19th November and will feature the very best dance crews from across the country, something that Harrow residents will no doubt want to be a part of.
A spokesperson for the UKSDC told Harrow Online: “The Byron Hall, Harrow Leisure Centre will be hosting the richest dance talent that hails from around the country. People can watch street dance crews, break-dancers, lockers and poppers compete for an array of medals and prizes at this action-packed street dance competition which has now been running for 15 years.
“The Event is presented in style by one of our seasoned presenters and the judges assembled from the professional dance industry are marking on technical difficulty, music interpretation, synchronization and originality.”
Harrow Online reached out to members of dance organisations and local businesses that promote musical theatre, break dancing and street dance.
Carly Woodbridge, Creative Producer for Passion & Purpose said: “It’s great to have a Hip Hop dance event in Harrow where the community are welcome to see some young talent showcase their skills.”
Lauren O’Connell, Co-Founder of Kidology Dance Co based in Harrow, who have entered the championships, said: “The UK street dance championships in Harrow is one of our favourite events of the year, our dancers love taking part.
