Firefighters in Harrow rescued three people yesterday (7 Nov) after a fire at a housing block.
The incident happened shortly after 8:00am on Hindes Road, just off Harrow View.
In a statement posted on their website, London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters led three people to safety from a small fire at a sheltered housing block on Hindes Road in Harrow.

“The fire was contained to the lift motor unit.
The Brigade was called at 0808 and the fire was under control by 0856. Harrow, Northolt and Wembley fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
