Four males have been arrested following an ‘armed fight’ in Lime Close, Harrow this afternoon, just off Bishop Ken Road.
The incident was reported by numerous members of the Harrow Online Group shortly after 3:30pm after a police helicopter and a large police presence were spotted at the location. Adderley Road was temporarily blocked off by police during the incident.
One member of the group said: “Anyone know what’s going on around Bishop Ken and surrounding rounds? Our roads blocked by armed police and CID, sniffer dogs, the lot.”
Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at 15:18hrs on Wednesday, 7 December to reports of a group of armed males fighting at Lime Close, Harrow.
“Officers attended. The males attempted to flee the scene and officers gave chase.
“Four males were detained and arrested on suspicion of going equipped and being in possession of offensive weapons.
“They were taken to west London police stations where they remain at this time.
“There were no reported injuries. Two vehicles were seized by officers. Enquiries continue.”
