Harrow Town Centre has been transformed into a festive market today featuring an array of stalls lining up along St Anns Road.
The market features stalls selling all kinds of festive treats, food, drink and unique gift ideas as we head towards Christmas.
Hundreds of shoppers paid a visit to the market browsing all the items on offer, a popular destination for lunch due to the variety in food options. Children and adults alike gathered to try some of the rides and attractions that also feature at the market, there truly is something for everyone.
The market has been organised by the Harrow BID team, who manage all aspects of Harrow Town Centre, and will run until this coming Saturday, 17th December. Opening to the public today, the market starts at 10am and closes at 6pm
One of the most popular food stalls, Pimento’s on the Go, got shoppers in the party mood by playing some reggae music whilst serving up jerk chicken, curry mutton, ackee & saltfish along with other traditional Caribbean food.
One of the other stalls that grabbed shoppers attention was the New York Candy Store, brand new in Harrow for 2022 and selling some of the nicest traditional fudge and American sweets you’ll find.
In addition the the food stalls, there’s also lots of quirky, unique gift ideas available at the market. One stall was selling a variety of Christmas jumpers with others selling wooden handcrafted ornaments and accessories. If you’re looking for something different to buy as a Christmas gift, it’s well worth paying a visit to the market.
