They added, “We no longer have bottled water available at Eastbury Pumping Station – Hampermill Lane, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD19 4TF.”
This was updated this morning (Thursday 22 December) at 08:30 and another update is expected after 12pm.

“We’ve been working hard to replenish the water in your local reservoir.

Update: At 4:30pm, Affinity Water updated the alert on their website stating: “All customers should now have their water supply restored. We adjusted our network to bring in more water from other areas, and we are building capacity back up in the network. During this time, some customers may experience lower pressure than normal at peak times, but it should improve by tomorrow.
“We are sorry for the recent disruption to your water supply and would like to thank you for your patience during this time.
“If you have water, you and your neighbours may have cloudy water, we’re really sorry about this. Please don’t worry, this isn’t harmful to you. (Cloudy water is just small air bubbles trapped in our pipework.) To find out more about cloudy water, please click here.”
