The occupants of a vehicle were taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after a collision in Culver Grove, Stanmore shortly before 4:30pm.
Images posted on social media showed a car overturned in Stanmore and a police cordon on Culver Grove, the road was closed for a couple of hours before reopening. London Fire Brigade, Met Police and London Ambulance Service attended the incident.
The car overturned after it collided with a bollard, police confirmed. The occupants of the vehicle were swiftly taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at about 16:25hrs on Sunday, 25 December to Culver Grove in Stanmore following reports of a car in collision with a bollard.
“Emergency services attended and found an overturned car. The occupants were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.28pm yesterday (25 December) to reports of a road traffic collision in Culver Grove, Stanmore.
“We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene. The first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes.
“We treated two patients at the scene and took them to hospital.”
