The Landmark in Harrow Town Centre has decided to close down after just over a year of trading in the local community.
The business, based at the old Debenhams building in Station Road, Harrow is shutting up shop and currently hosting a closing down sale.
The Landmark has struggled to recover after the pandemic, as many retailers have, and recently launched their closing down sale with many discounted items available.
The store, located in the heart of Harrow Town Centre, built up quite the following since it opened its doors in November 2021 with many local shoppers hoping it would reach the same level of success and popularity of its predecessor, Debenhams.
Upon its opening, many ex-Debenhams employees were offered job opportunities after losing their positions.
Situated opposite Lloyds Bank and just up from the George pub, the store has offered unique jewellery, ladieswear, children’s wear and menswear across three floors, whilst also selling gift items and beauty products since it’s opening 14 months ago.
The closing sale is to end this Sunday when the store will shut its doors for the final time.
The next question will no doubt be, what will open in its place? What would you like to see replace The Landmark in Harrow Town Centre? Let us know in the comments on our socials.
