Police appeal to public after attempted child abduction in Hayes in October last year

Police have appealed to the public for any witnesses or information regarding an attempted child abduction in Hayes back in October last year.

This evening (16 Jan), Met Police posted via their socials: “Appeal Can you help?

“Officers are appealing for the publics help following an attempted abduction in Hayes.

“On Thursday 6th October 2022 at 18:30 Police were called to Coldharbour Lane, Hayes responding to reports of an attempted abduction.

“Officers attended the location and subsequently located the child involved, safe and well.

“A man in his 30’s was arrested but has since been released with no further action taken against him.

“If you were in the area at the time of the incident and witnessed anything, please contact police on 101 quoting 6734/060CT.”
