A business in Harrow has announced that they are offering a comprehensive financial support package to employees to provide help during the current challenging times with the cost of living crisis.
The Harrow and Pinner branches of Grant & Stone from the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) are providing a one-off winter payment of £500 in January to help with the rising cost of living, the group said.
Employees will also receive discounts on a range of essentials, such as groceries, clothing, mobile phones, household bills and insurance.
The group has also launched an employee purchase scheme, which provides discounts on a variety of energy-saving products, such as insulation and draught proofing, helping staff to manage rising energy costs.
Peter Cudd, Group Managing Director, commented: “We fully recognise that we would not be one of the leading construction industry merchants in the region without the hard work of our highly dedicated team, so it’s important for us to be able to provide this support. The initiatives are to assist our employees and their families during these extraordinary times and to help safeguard them against future increases in the cost of living.”
