Harrow firefighters called to fire at property on Headstone Lane

Fire crews from across Harrow attended a fire at a flat on Headstone Lane this afternoon.

The Brigade confirmed that a woman was treated for smoke inhalation after leaving the property prior to their arrival.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters tackled a fire at a flat on Headstone Lane in Harrow today (January 19).

“A small part of a five-roomed flat on the third floor of the building was damaged by fire.

“A woman left the property before firefighters arrived and was treated for smoke inhalation.

“The Brigade was called at 1217 and the fire was under control by 1255. Crews from Harrow, Stanmore and Northolt fire stations attended the scene.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
