South Harrow: Lloyds Bank in Northolt Road set to close down

Lloyds and Halifax have announced the closure of 40 sites across the UK including the South Harrow branch.

Lloyds Banking Group said they are to close 18 Halifax 22 Lloyds branches in England and Wales over 12 weeks starting in April 2023.

The South Harrow branch, located on Northolt Road, is confirmed as one of the branches set to close its doors for good.

A spokesperson for Lloyds said: “Branches play an important part in our strategy but we need to have them in the right places, where they are well-used.

“We’ll continue to invest in branches that are being used regularly, alongside our online, mobile app and telephone services.”

The Halifax branches are as follows – St Neots, Bletchley, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Chingford Mount, Chester-le-St, Bangor, Fenchurch Street in London, Aldershot, Crouch End, Norbury, Surbiton, Redruth, Maldon, St Neots, Whitley Bay, Grays Putney, Golders Green, and Purley

The Lloyds branches set to close include Ripley, Hyde, Weybridge, Beckenham, Aintree, Norbury, Chingford, Gillingham in Kent, Pontefract, Marylebone, Bramford Road in Ipswich, Dagenham Heathway in London, Twickenham, Whitstable, Wickersley, Borehamwood, Littlehampton, Rustington, Beeston, Shaftesbury, Newport in Shropshire and South Harrow.
