Honeypot Lane was blocked in both directions after a collision this evening (25 Jan).
Images sent to Harrow Online show a car on its side and another car badly damaged at Honeypot Lane.
The 79 bus route was on diversion.
Met Police said in a statement: “Police were called at about 18:30hrs on Wednesday, 25 January to reports of a collision involving two cars on Honeypot Lane in Stanmore.
“Emergency services attended. The driver of one of the cars was treated at the scene; her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The road is currently closed to traffic.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.35pm yesterday (25 January) to reports of a road traffic collision on Honeypot Lane, Stanmore.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, medics in two fast response cars, an incident response officer and a clinical team leader. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance by car.
“The first paramedic arrived in around four minutes.
“We treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital.”
