Harrow residents can now apply for street parties to commemorate the historic coronation of King Charles III on Sunday 7 May.
Buckingham Palace has now confirmed how the nation will be celebrating during this special weekend with members of the public, including Harrow residents, encouraged to volunteer to help their community by hosting street parties.
Anyone interested can also order a special coronation ‘Big Lunch Pack’ containing inspirational ideas, top tips and practical advice about the special occasion and what hosting a party involved.
Harrow Council now have a dedicated section on their website for residents wishing to apply to hold a street party to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty.
The website states: “Harrow Council welcomes community events, such as street parties to celebrate events. If you want to hold a street party you should read through the following information and if necessary complete an application form. The advice is intended for small, self-organised events for residents and neighbours only.”
