Two fire engines rush to Wealdstone to tackle house fire

Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were called to a fire at a house under renovation on Locket Road in Wealdstone yesterday evening shortly before 7pm.

London Fire Brigade confirmed that part of the first-floor bedroom floor was damaged by fire.

A member of Harrow Online posted: “There’s smoke coming from a house in Wealdstone, looks like there are at least two fire engines nearby as well trying to put the fire out.”

The Brigade was called at 6:47pm and the fire was under control by 7:17pm. Fire crews from Harrow and Stanmore fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
