Five fire engines were spotted in Harrow Town Centre last night after reports of a fire on Headstone Road shortly after 7:30pm.
A man is understood to have fled the building prior to the fire services arriving at the scene.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told Harrow Online: “Firefighters tackled a small fire inside a kitchen at a flat on Headstone Road. A man left the flat before firefighters arrived.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 1934 and the fire was under control by 1957. Crews from Harrow, Wembley, and Northolt fire stations were at the scene.”
