A person has sadly died at Hanger Lane Underground Station yesterday (12 Feb) afternoon.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Hanger Lane Underground station at 1.42pm on 12 February following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
A London Ambulance Services spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.41pm on Sunday 12 February to reports of an incident at Hanger Lane Underground Station.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crAlexandra-Avenue/ew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of our hazardous area response team (HART). We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
