“The occupants have been away for a while and the rear door was not secured properly.
We do not know if anything has been taken as yet as the owners are not back.

“The other Burglary was Saturday 18th Feb on Weston drive at 2100hrs, where suspects forced the front door open which activated the alarm. The suspects fled. There is a large hedge in front of this property which could have shielded the intruders.

“The ward has had a few vehicles opened notably on Belmont Circle, Uppingham Avenue and Bellamy Drive. These are all during the night. One of the car owners left his takings approx £4000 from Ladbrokes in the glove box, which was probably not a good idea.”
